Our Philosophy
Twin Bridges was founded by myself, Karly Foster, out of a desire to create a clinical environment that aligned perfectly with my values and beliefs on how to treat the human body. In the early stages of my career, I found myself struggling with the traditional model of Physiotherapy, treating multiple patients at once in condensed treatment sessions. For me, this didn't make sense. I was finding that patients were either not responding well to treatment or they were taking longer than necessary to see improvements in their condition. Personally, I did not see how I could bring my best to each patient, thoroughly assessing their issues in such short time periods when my attention was spread between multiple patients. I wanted to create a setting where I was able to spend an appropriate amount of time with each patient in a focused, one on one session to better address their issues through education, hands on treatment and movement re-training, allowing the patient to feel heard, valued and not rushed. My goal in starting Twin Bridges was to eventually be able to bring together like minded practitioners from different disciplines to work together and support each other to help our patients see the best results.Twin Bridges Physiotherapy and Wellness ultimately aims to put the patient first and treat the individual as a whole, addressing all possible facets that can influence someone's health and well being.
