Workshop 3 – Injury Prevention Strategies for Runners
Who should attend

Any runner interested in learning more about ways they can improve their running (without just running more) and decrease their risk of injury.

What you will learn
  • Common reasons for injury in runners and tips to avoid them
  • Break down of running mechanics
  • Injury screening for common areas of the body that lead to increased risk of injury in runners including the foot, ankle, knee and hip.
  • Simple and effective drills/self-treatment strategies to improve your running and decrease risk of injury.
Workshop Details

When: Wednesday, January 18th, 2017. 8:00pm-9:30pm.
Where: Twin Bridges Physiotherapy at Elevate Training, Health and Wellness. 130 Pemberton Ave, North Vancouver.

What to wear/bring:

This will be an interactive workshop. Please make sure to wear/bring comfortable clothing.

About Me

I am a runner and a Physiotherapist with a passion for working with runners, to help them improve their running, recover as quickly as possible from injury and remain injury free. As a runner, I have had my fair share of injuries and have had to learn from experience how to recover and how to avoid them. I spend a ton of my free time reading and researching running and biomechanics to learn as much as I can and help my patients as best as possible. I want to share my knowledge with those who are willing to listen and motivated to do the work necessary to help keep them injury free.
